CBD* (cannabidiol) is not a psychoactive cannabinoid. It binds to the cell, which then starts to regenerate and build a shield around the healthy cell. All MyLovelyPets products are made from legal industrial hemp. They contain different contents of CBD and allowed amount of THC**, which is less than 0.2%. Such low THC levels do not cause intoxication.
Phytocannabinoids act on systems and not on specific disease. Studies have proved its tremendous impact on physical and mental well-being. That’s why CBD is used against pain symptoms and to help relieve, improve or heal problems in various conditions of the immune, nervous, digestive, skin and other systems.
CBD is one of the 141 currently known phytocannabinoids present in cannabis. It binds to CB2 receptors in the body that are found in leukocytes, spleen, bone marrow and other tissues related to the immune system. CBD can represent up to 40% of cannabis extracts.

Industrial hemp does not cause intoxication due to low amount of THC and high of CBD. The main difference between cannabis and marijuana is that industrial hemp has a very low level of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol); it can contain about 0.3 – 1.5%. Medicinal or regular cannabis contains 10% or more of THC and is currently not allowed to be grown in Slovenia.
